Right living, right practice
Our practices often align with Buddhist and other spiritual practices but our meditations are usually about attention and the way we are in the world and with ourselves. Many people find meditating in a group supportive. We feel we are all beginners but some of us have more experience and sharing our practice can be useful for us all.
Each 2nd and 4th Wednesday we start in silent meditation, and finish in the same way. Examples of what might happen in between include readings from classic texts, mindful communication, bringing awareness to our experience through breathing, music, just sitting, and drinking tea.
Outside of Wednesday evenings we also host periodic weekend community events, which have included a craft fair, film evenings, and dance.
